August is the liveliest month of the year in Fréjus: concerts, electro festivals, big gatherings and night markets follow one another, between the Roman arena and the Base Nature by the sea. Here is everything on this month.
The highlights
Gims, at the Azura festival
Base Nature François Léotard
French rapper Gims sets the Base Nature alight as part of the Azura festival. Rap and urban pop, a DJ warm-up, food trucks and a great atmosphere between the sea and the pines.
Color South Festival
Arènes de Fréjus · 6pm to 1am
Electro music and bursts of coloured powder in the unique setting of the Roman arena. Color bar, food trucks and a VIP area: one of the great festive events of the Riviera summer.
Hell's Week
13 to 16 August · Base Nature
The 10th edition of the largest motorcycle gathering in the south of France. Rock concerts, mechanical shows, stunts and custom culture over four days.
S Xpress Festival
21 and 22 August · Arènes de Fréjus
A new electronic music festival at the arena, with Bob Sinclar, Trym and Lilly Palmer on the line-up. Two nights from 6pm to 2am, blending music and immersive staging.
